Responsibilities:
MV Transportation is in search of an

Operations Supervisor

who will offer guidance, leadership, and strategic direction to the designated operational site to ensure the successful execution of annual business objectives.

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily functions of our transportation contract, ensuring adherence to the policies set forth by the contracting agency and compliance with company protocols.

The Operations Supervisor is chiefly accountable for, but not limited to:

1. Efficiently managing on-time performance and driver availability.
2. Overseeing all call center operations.
3. Cultivating customer relationships through direct engagement and outreach initiatives.
4. Identifying, selecting, training, and mentoring site personnel.
5. Maintaining effective and regular communication with site staff and support team members.
6. Assisting in the management of safety and training programs, plans, and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory standards.
7. Contributing to the preservation of the safety culture within the division.
8. Regularly maintaining client interactions to meet or exceed expectations.
9. Assisting with the execution of periodic departmental audits.
10. Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of key operational metrics.
11. Implementing, promoting, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
12. Participating in site labor and employee relations activities.

Qualifications:

Talent Requirements:
Must possess five (5) to seven (7) years of management experience in a similarly sized fixed route environment.
The ideal candidate should have experience in scheduling, personnel management, and training.
Must be capable of working independently and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of contractual obligations is essential for successful job performance.
Understanding of company policies ensures that direct reports apply consistent measures to evaluate driver activities.
Experience managing within a Union environment.
Proven ability to manage in a fast-paced setting.

Salary Range:
$87,931 - $94,016
