Job Description Summary

As a key member of the Construction & Commissioning department, the HRSG Team Leader M&E will be responsible for ensuring that all EEP/TK projects within the Americas, Europe, and Africa regions receive HRSG M&E resources in accordance with planned demand. This role requires active participation in operation and manpower planning for the projects, as well as coordination with all regions and the Global M&E leader to ensure HC/LC targets are met and utilization of resources is maximized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a proper training plan to ensure the global HRSG installation team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Drive KPIs and targets, and report to the Americas C&C Pole Leader and the Global C&C M&E Leader.
  • Organize site operation reviews to identify competencies required for site execution, and timely nominate resources to active projects.
  • Coordinate with Region C&C M&E resource managers/local sourcing/compliance to ensure resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Prepare field staff prior to mission deployment through preparation checklists and briefings of expectations for the mission and main priorities and targets.
  • Establish a global mentoring program for new hires and team members as required for HRSG crew.
  • Be involved in all ITO phases where HRSG expertise is required for reviewing strategies, schedules with the M&E Tending Team, Regional M&E Leaders, and Global M&E Leader.
  • Represent GE C&C M&E in communication with agencies in terms of workload, service description for the request for proposal.
Requirements
  • Mechanical engineer graduate.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Boilers installation or commissioning.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in EPC/turnkey projects management and/or construction management.
  • Strong leadership skills to work in a matrix organization with experience of international management.
  • Team player & networker capacity to manage projects in different countries.
  • Capacity to define, deploy a strategy & agile vs environment changes.
  • Organizational, program development, and planning mindset.
  • Frequent travels (30% of the time).
  • Fluent in English; second language is a plus (Chinese, Spanish, German).
