Job Overview

As a Front Office Supervisor at PT Solutions Physical Therapy, you will play a crucial role in facilitating and supervising the daily front office operations for our clinics. This position will focus on enhancing the front office engagement, environment, and staff performance, while embodying the mission and values of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive front office performance to meet or exceed budgeted metrics for visits and evaluations
  • Collaborate closely with Clinic Managers and Senior Clinic Manager to achieve shared goals
  • Partner with the Front Office Manager to recruit, interview, and hire staff to support clinic operations
  • Contribute to clinic volume growth through front-facing interactions
  • Provide coaching and guidance to staff on front office performance, referral management, POC adherence, and customer service expectations
  • Monitor referral data and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage front office labor, schedules, and PTO requests
  • Participate in regular check-ins with the Front Office Manager to discuss progress and challenges
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with insurance verification, authorization, and reimbursement/billing teams
Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; submission of diploma for highest level of education obtained will be required
  • Keyboarding skills with the ability to type 45 words per minute preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Good organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows-based applications
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of medical reimbursement and technology
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles
  • Working knowledge of standard office equipment
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
