Job Title: Hearing Care Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hearing Care Coordinator to join our team at Estes Audiology, part of Alpaca Audiology. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clinical staff to provide quality care and service to patients
  • Schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits, and assist with support needs within the clinic
  • Collect patient intake forms, maintain patient files, and process payments
  • Provide first-level support to patients, answer questions, and check patients in/out
  • Process repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional
  • Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance
  • General sales knowledge for accessories and patient support
  • Process patient orders, receive all orders, and verify pick up
  • Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
  • Submit equipment and facility requests
  • General office duties, including cleaning
  • Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed
  • Assist with event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach event per month

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associates degree, preferred
  • Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • Strong relationship building skills with patients, physicians, and clinical staff
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • EMR/EHR experience a plus
  • 2+ years in a healthcare environment, preferred
  • Previous customer service experience, required
