Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hearing Aid Specialist/Technician Intern. This role will provide support to our audiology clinic, assisting with hearing aid repairs, maintenance, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with hearing aid repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Provide patient education on hearing aid use, care, and maintenance
  • Conduct visual and auditory checks of hearing aids and assistive technology
  • Order and maintain inventory of hearing aid supplies and equipment
  • Assist with patient scheduling and coordination
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program for Hearing Aid Specialists or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of hearing aids, hearing assistive technology, and hearing instrument science
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic medical records systems
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
