Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategy and Operations Manager to join our team at Abb Holdings Inc. This is a hybrid position with successful candidates located in the Boston - Quincy, MA area.

Abb Holdings Inc enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions. Our Division offers integrated digital technologies to control HVAC, lighting, shutters, and security, in addition to energy distribution solutions including DIN rail products, enclosures and emergency lighting through to industrial plugs and sockets and conventional wiring accessories, accommodating for single family homes, multiple dwellings, commercial buildings, infrastructure and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies within approved budget
  • Create offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers and strategies
  • Report progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets
  • Analyze channel activity and take ownership for solving identified problems
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned small electrical contractors, targeting multi-family projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college with minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Sales
  • Experience with complex contact negotiations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB products
  • Experience working with contractors & channel partners
  • Six Sigma or equivalent Quality training preferred
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools

Benefits:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for implementing the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget. The salary for this position is approximately $120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Role:

This role involves developing and maintaining productive working relationships with assigned channel partners at all levels of their organization. Responsibilities include assisting with project quotations, order management, customer training, stock maintenance, order analysis to position ABB as a preferred vendor. In addition, you will develop small contractor accounts in support of your channel partner's inventory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • $120,000 per year salary
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 2 additional years of experience in Sales
