Exercise Specialist Job Description

UW Health is seeking an Exercise Specialist to supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults and a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym
  • Conduct initial interviews and evaluate new members to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions
  • Orient new participants to the rules of the facility

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field
  • Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults
  • Previous healthcare experience
