Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our multi-disciplinary preventive cardiology department at UW Health East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate treatment plans to meet the clinical and educational needs of heart patients, families, and patients at risk for cardiovascular disease.
  • Conduct stress tests with and without nuclear imaging.
  • Work collaboratively with medical directors, cardiologists, and advanced practice providers to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs to promote cardiovascular health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field with emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation.
  • Three-month internship in a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification.
  • American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiology certification (ACSM-CEP).
