Job Overview:

Skanska USA is seeking a dynamic Superintendent to lead field operations in assigned areas or aspects of the project. The ideal candidate will ensure that work is performed in a safe, timely, profitable, and ethical manner, in accordance with contract documents, design, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise field labor forces and Assistant Superintendents.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality control measures.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role in the construction industry.
  • 5+ years of proven construction experience, including successful leadership of smaller projects or areas of larger heavy civil projects.
  • Experience with change order and ticket management, schedule updates, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Ability to read and deliver on plans and specifications.
