About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Veolia North America.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing electrical systems, instrumentation systems, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, and fixtures.

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment according to vendor specifications.
  • Electrical Systems: Inspect and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices, gauges, and other tools of the trade; obtain necessary parts through established procedures.
  • Installation: Install new or replacement electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Instrumentation: Calibrate instrumentation, valves, flow meters, etc. Zero and span, debug, and adjust.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma/GED
  • A valid driver's license
  • An Electrical Journeyman's License
  • Four years of on-the-job electrician/instrumentation experience
  • Excellent reading, math, writing, scientific, and verbal communication skills

You will also need to have the ability to safely operate material handling equipment, apply electrical methods to the maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, and establish effective working relationships with other employees.
