We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join Kelco Electric as an Electrical Installation Specialist. The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on experience and location.

Job Overview

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. As an Electrical Installation Specialist at Kelco Electric, you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Install New Electrical Systems: Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials needed. Install new electrical systems, including wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment.
  • Repair Existing Systems: Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
  • Provide Bids for Work Orders: Prepare and submit bids for electrical work orders, taking into account labor costs, materials, and other expenses.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and well-organized, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  • Train Apprentices: Share knowledge and expertise with apprentices, guiding them through electrical installation and repair processes.
Requirements
  • Journeyman Electrician License: Possess a valid Journeyman Electrician license, demonstrating your competence in electrical installation and repair.
  • Previous Experience: Have prior experience as an Electrician, showcasing your ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license, enabling you to travel to job sites and transport equipment as needed.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Possess a solid understanding of electrical concepts, including circuitry, wiring, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate effective communication skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
