JOB SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of the Food and Beverage Server include greeting guests, taking orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

EXPERIENCE
  • A High School Diploma is preferred, along with a minimum of one year of experience in hotel food service. A solid understanding of full service and table-side service standards is essential.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess an active TABC Certification.
  • Food Handlers Certification is required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Presenting menus, responding to inquiries, and providing recommendations on food and beverage selections. Staying informed about specials and detailing menu items and preparation methods upon request.
  • Communicating orders to the kitchen, serving courses, and timing the service according to guests' dining preferences.
  • Serving menu items promptly and courteously, clearing tables, and resetting them efficiently.
  • Addressing guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and thoroughly to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Adhering to hotel safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean work environment, and reporting any incidents immediately.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • This position may involve some lifting and standing for over 75% of the time.

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends, based on operational needs. Attendance at all training sessions and meetings is mandatory.
