Job Title: AWS Certified Welding Inspector

HRV Conformance Verification Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled AWS Certified Welding Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of structural steel welds in accordance with AWS D1.1 and D1.5 standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspection of welds during fabrication of structural steel
  • Verify compliance with AWS D1.1 and D1.5 standards
  • Conduct quality assurance and quality control activities
  • Collaborate with fabrication team to ensure high-quality welds
Requirements:
  • Valid AWS CWI certification
  • NDT Level II in MT or UT/RT preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in quality inspection of welds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
  • Climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time
  • Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
  • Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
