Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team in Meridian, ID. As a key member of our clinical laboratory operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collecting and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate data management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative duties: Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, and monitor instrumentation alarms.
  • Technical responsibilities: Retrieve blood samples and other specimens, prepare them for laboratory testing, and perform screening procedures.
  • Accurate data management: Verify specimen information, perform data entry, and properly identify patient information.
  • Specimen handling: Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.
  • Compliance: Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in quality assurance.
  • Flexibility: Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on phlebotomy experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
