Job Overview

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a skilled professional to join our Business Management team as an Infrastructure Contract Specialist. This role will be based in our Idaho Falls EROB facility, working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop subcontract specifications, terms, and conditions for procuring specialized materials, equipment, and services.
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidder's conferences, and evaluate proposals for conformity to contract requirements.
  • Negotiate subcontract provisions, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts.
  • Coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Ensure effective communication between laboratory and subcontractors to fulfill contract terms.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • EX2 level: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 1 year of experience.
  • EX3 level: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in acquisitions in a Federal environment.
  • Contacts experience in a DOE M&O environment.
