About the Job

Are you passionate about supporting the social-emotional health and wellness of children in a dynamic outdoor environment? We are seeking a Seasonal Camp Behavior Specialist to join our team at The Trustees of Reservations. This role is perfect for someone with a deep understanding of behavioral modification and child development, who can share their knowledge to help prepare staff, camp spaces, caregivers, and campers for a successful camp experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in setting up activity and quiet spaces that allow all campers to thrive
  • Lead staff training on understanding and supporting campers with diverse needs
  • Review camper records and documents prior to attendance
  • Communicate with caregivers as necessary before or during camp
  • Coordinate strategy plans for campers who require accommodations and modifications
  • Support instructors with camper accommodations and modifications
  • Evaluate and document administrative tasks related to camper accommodations and modifications
Requirements

We're looking for someone with a master's degree or equivalent experience in social work, education, child development, or a related field. You should have proven expertise in trauma-informed practices, neurodiversity, behavior modification, and special education. Additionally, you should be an effective communicator and collaborator with strong interpersonal skills.

What You'll Gain
