Position Overview

Carnival Corporation and plc, a premier name in the cruise industry, is looking for a dedicated Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role is essential in ensuring the seamless flow of supplies across our various brands.

As a Logistics and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the order fulfillment process and ensuring timely delivery of critical supplies. Your expertise will guide the entire operation from order placement to vendor settlements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Operations:
    • Provide support for the expedited delivery of supplies in alignment with company policies.
    • Handle urgent delivery requests and relay information regarding shipment statuses effectively.
    • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation for reporting purposes.
    • Track shipment progress and generate necessary reports for operational teams.
  • Logistics Management:
    • Monitor delivery timelines and address any logistical challenges.
    • Develop action plans based on supply loading schedules.
    • Ensure all logistical criteria are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Vendor Relations:
    • Guarantee prompt vendor payments and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Reconcile vendor accounts and collaborate closely with Finance and Supply Chain departments.
    • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and vendors.
  • Communication:
    • Serve as the primary contact for urgent supply chain issues.
    • Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems is advantageous.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
