CNC Operator II Job Description

Burton Mill Solutions is a leading provider of modern lumber processing equipment and technology. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator II to join our team of talented professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to grind and cut steel
  • Use specialized saws and hand tools to perform tasks
  • Read industrial knife blueprints and complete Statistical Process Control Charts (SPCs)
  • Perform quality checks and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Load and unload steel from machines and perform general cleaning and maintenance
  • Work with a high sense of urgency and wear required PPE
  • May be required to provide support and training to others
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to accurately input data into ERP System and input programs into CNC Machines
  • Microsoft Teams and email proficiency
  • Ability to work with people to troubleshoot problems and accomplish daily work requirements
  • Must be able to speak and read English, do basic math, and lift 50 pounds
