Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, using blueprints and repair manuals as needed
  • Order parts and supplies, and assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical, and electronic components
  • Assist other workers with specific tasks as requested, and follow plant quality practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience, and support the Plant's Food Safety initiatives by completing required training and implementing practices
Requirements
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years maintenance experience, including machine repair and electrical diagnostic of extrusion and thermoforming equipment
  • Moderate computer skills, and ability to work safely, with willingness to train in cross-functional areas and work overtime as needed
