**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Hose Assembly Technician to join our team in the Hose Assembly department. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and securing proper fittings to the ends of hoses using an internal Expansion Machine. You will also coil and attach labels with straps to the hose, visually inspect the product, and perform quality checks.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assemble and secure proper fittings to the ends of hoses using an internal Expansion Machine
  • Coil and attach labels with straps to the hose
  • Visually inspect the product before placing it on the take-away belt or in cartons
  • Cross-train to supply un-assembled cartons to finishing tables
  • Operate a computerized label printer and perform required quality checks
  • Maintain production records
  • Perform finished goods visual quality inspection

**Requirements**

  • Ability to read and write as acquired through a high school education or the equivalent
  • Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned
  • Essential physical requirements: must be able to stand for long periods, squat, bend, twist, and turn as needed to perform the job
  • Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
