**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to drive sales growth, expand market reach, and enhance customer relationships in a specific territory for Dakota Fluid Power.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow sales within existing accounts and target new customers.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with various stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Implement a structured sales process to acquire and retain accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote Dakota Fluid Power's products and solutions to meet customer needs, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise.
  • Attend relevant training sessions and sales meetings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in industrial supply and hydraulic/pneumatic sales, as well as a strong understanding of fluid power systems.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in fluid power sales, with a strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Preferred fluid power certification, such as the Certified Fluid Power Specialist (CFPS) designation.
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, and filtration systems, as well as industry trends and best practices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with a focus on meeting sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
