Director of Sales

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Red Lion Gillette, WY. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability through effective sales strategies and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets, identify new business opportunities, and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients, including hoteliers, meeting planners, and travel agents, to secure group business and drive revenue growth.
- Market and Promote the Hotel: Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the hotel and build relationships with potential clients.
- Manage Sales Budget and Performance: Develop and manage the sales budget, track sales performance, and provide regular reports to management.
- Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the sales team to ensure they are equipped to meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Experience: 2+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel sales processes and systems, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
