About the Role

We are seeking a highly accomplished executive to join our Corporate Leadership Team as a Vice President of Information and Technology. This is a unique opportunity to drive a big impact towards our goals during an important time of growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT Strategic and Operational Planning: Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy and roadmap to fuel growth and productivity, ensuring budgets and resources are allocated appropriately to attain desired return on investment.
  • Build and Develop the IT Team: Foster a high-performing team that is strategically aligned with the organization, and in turn, the organization has trust in, and partnership with, the IT function.
  • Establish IT Governance and Enterprise Standards: Develop and regulate best practices for IT governance and enterprise standards, ensuring effective and efficient use of IT across the organization.
  • Partner with Vendors and External Partners: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate, and ensure partner performance, driving mutually beneficial relationships that support shared success.
  • Drive Digital Transformation: Balance optimizing our main systems with integrating new systems of differentiation and innovation, enabling the company to drive business growth and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Experience in Consumer Products, Food, and/or Packaged Goods Industries: Proven track record of driving growth and transformation in a similar industry.
  • Leadership and IT Expertise: Experienced leader in both enterprise business/operational systems and technology, with a strong ability to set direction for an IT function and influence strategy with companywide impact.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to combine industry-leading solutions with internal tools to create and optimize solutions that meet E.A. Sween and customer needs.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience interacting with executive teams and/or boards of directors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with various information systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with Oracle's JD Edwards preferred.
