Company Overview: La Quinta Inn & Suites Wyndham Auburn is a leading hotel operating company in the area, known for its excellent customer service and fun work environment. Our hotel has an opening for a Front Desk Agent position with a flexible schedule of 4 days a week and 10-hour shifts.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Agent. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for registering guests, assigning rooms, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a smooth stay experience. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • Coordinate guest room maintenance work with the engineering and maintenance division.
  • Take same-day reservations and future reservations when necessary.
  • Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other hotel services.
  • Process laundry to re-stock for the next housekeeping day.
  • Report any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
  • Manage and resolve guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process guest check-outs and handle monetary transactions.
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have night auditor experience, be able to work overnight, have reliable transportation, and possess a high school diploma. Additionally, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and valid driver's license are required. Experience in customer service, hotel operations, and flexibility with scheduling are preferred.
