Associate Professor of Clinical
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor of Clinical to join our team in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging in clinical, research, teaching, and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in departmental academic and educational activities, including morning teaching conferences, morbidity and mortality conference, weekly new patient conference, and departmental and cancer center retreats.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and give at least one department grand rounds yearly and lecture residents twice during the year.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, and participate in Quality Improvement activities.
- Engage in research activities, including the development of research projects and the reporting of progress on a regular basis.
- Board eligible/certified in Radiation Oncology.
- License to practice medicine in the state of Florida (Florida Medical License or University Medical Faculty Certificate).
