Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Gas Station Cashier to join our team at Chevron Stations Inc. (CSI). As a Gas Station Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous and professional service to customers, vendors, and community members.
  • Maintain a neat and organized appearance, adhering to CSI image standards.
  • Support and follow established safety, security, and quality guidelines, as well as CSI policies and procedures.
  • Preserve the safety of yourself, fellow employees, and others in the work location by utilizing the CSI Loss Prevention process.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are followed, including proper sanitation, food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal procedures.
  • Follow federal law and company standards for carding customers for age-restricted products.
  • Work professionally with vendors and contractors.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is expected.
Requirements
  • Available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise exceptional judgment.
  • Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
  • Must possess required up-to-date food handling certificates, as required by law.
  • Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods on hard and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to bend, lift, push, and move product using proper lifting techniques.
  • Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions during daylight hours.
  • Moderate exposure to walk-in coolers and freezers at 34 F or lower.
  • Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness standards.
