In this pivotal role, you will guide operations in both workshop and field settings, ensuring the dependability and performance of critical electrical systems. This position presents an exceptional chance to demonstrate your technical proficiency while contributing significantly to the advancement of industrial power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct testing on low and medium voltage breakers utilizing Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing tests.
- Execute mechanical repairs and maintenance on breakers, including disassembly, refurbishment, and component replacement.
- Employ and interpret readings from electrical meters accurately.
- Analyze schematics and wiring diagrams effectively.
- Troubleshoot circuit control systems.
- Interpret and plot time-current characteristics.
- Understand and apply electrical one-line diagrams and symbols.
- Test power and current transformers, including Power Factor and TTR assessments.
- Document findings consistently using Power DB.
- Utilize electrical testing instruments and tools proficiently.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in power generation facilities, industrial services, and primary power distribution.
- A minimum of 2 years in industrial or commercial power systems.
- Preferred certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to reference and complete tasks as outlined in relevant specifications.
- Willingness to perform fieldwork in various environments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and business management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerDB, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
