Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Patterns LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular testing and inspections of products at various stages of the production process.
  • Evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.
  • Responsible for plant sanitation and ensuring compliance with GMP regulations.
  • Collaborate with production team members to identify and implement quality improvements.
  • Perform daily and quarterly micro tests, as well as wet chemical analysis of product.
  • Operate production equipment during operator breaks/lunches and other times as needed.
  • Fills in for the Lead Quality Technician as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required. Some college with science emphasis preferred, but will accept experience in lieu of college education.
  • Minimum of 2 years of quality experience with a beverage or food manufacturer a plus. Knowledge of HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems, and SQF or another Global Food Safety Initiative is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of math and chemical composition, structure, and properties related to bottle water.
  • English Language: Knowledge of the structure of the English language including reading, written, and oral comprehension and oral and written expression.
  • Flexibility with schedules and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions

While performing certain tests and using certain chemicals, you will be required to wear safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, and other PPE. Safety glasses and slip resistant shoes are required when on the plant floor. Earplugs are required in certain areas of the plant. You must follow and help enforce all GMP regulations for the plant.
