Job SummaryThe Outside Sales Representative position supports all sales efforts in California and is responsible for positively conveying Sonic's brand message and converting potential customers into customers through door-to-door canvassing efforts.
This is a full-time, non-exempt/hourly entry-level position that requires a valid California Driver's License for three years and clean DMV record. Reliable vehicle and auto insurance are also required.
Key Responsibilities- Execute door-to-door sales campaigns to generate sales leads and fill Gigabit Fiber pipeline.
- Perform sales-related activities at Sonic events and maintain a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
- Possess an energetic attitude and desire to grow the business through sales, learn and strive to gain new knowledge about product and service changes, and meet or exceed sales expectations on a consistent basis.
- Work independently and in team settings, with a strong self-direction and ability to take initiative, and maintain a positive attendance record.
- Friendly and courteous demeanor, with effective people and communication skills.
- Ability to walk long distances and tolerate changing weather conditions, with a valid CA Driver's License for three years and clean DMV record.

- Excellent work ethic and motivated to be a consistent performer, with the ability to receive and implement ongoing feedback and coaching.
The physical demands of this job include walking approximately 3 miles per day, carrying 10-20 pounds of marketing materials, and subject to weather conditions. The employee must be able to sit and stand, talk or hear, reach with hands and arms, and key/type. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
