Accounting Professional with Financial Analysis Expertise

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team at the Gjelina Group. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for applying principles of accounting to process, record, and ensure accuracy of financial information.

Job Summary

This role is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of general accounting and MS Office proficiency. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares weekly sales journal entries, tracks daily operational deposits, and prepares analysis of paid outs.
  • Prepares various other accounting responsibilities, assists the Controller with special projects, and compiles and analyzes financial information.
  • Investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Good understanding of general accounting and knowledge of Accounting systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a high customer service focus.
Working Environment

The work environment is usually quiet, and the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $58,000 to $65,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
