Job Summary

Georgetown University is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Athletics Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our student-athletes, ensuring their optimal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide initial injury and illness evaluations, referrals, and follow-up evaluations to student-athletes
  • Administer wound care, injury treatment, and emergency cardiac care as needed
  • Develop and implement injury rehabilitation and reconditioning programs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medical records and injury documentation
  • Collaborate with team doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a current NATABOC certification
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Eligible for District of Columbia Athletic Training Licensure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
