We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Supervisor to join our team at Rainier Springs, a 72-bed behavioral hospital in Vancouver, WA. As a House Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital during administration's absence.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee hospital operations, including performance management, scheduling, and education and coaching as needed.
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) in conducting department meetings and ensuring effective communication among team members.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care, ensuring that treatment plans are executed properly and patient goals are met.
- Display a thorough understanding of nursing knowledge, including assessments, treatment planning, discharge and admission procedures, medication distribution, and medical care.
- Must be 21 years of age and a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing training.
- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
- Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
