Job Overview

Murray Resources is in search of a dynamic Logistics Operations Leader to spearhead and refine operational activities across various sites. The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in distribution management and a strong track record of effectively guiding diverse teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and enhance business processes to guarantee efficient warehouse operations across multiple locations in collaboration with branch managers and support teams.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales department and clients regarding service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to operational protocols for activities such as verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, managing materials, and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
  • Manage daily workflows for delivery orders, ensuring that replenishment orders and returns are processed in accordance with company standards.
  • Engage in planning safety, training, and facility protection initiatives, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide updates to senior management regarding the physical state of warehouse facilities and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive background in warehouse management, operations, distribution, or logistics
  • Previous experience in supply chain management within a large corporate setting is preferred
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or relevant experience is advantageous
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven with a proactive approach
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Safety-oriented mindset
  • Team-oriented with a hands-on leadership style
