Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer Architect to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing system architectures and defining key capabilities and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define system architectures and develop thorough definitions of system external interfaces.
  • Develop system implementation approach and operational concept.
  • Evaluate performance with customers and ensure requirements are met.
  • Analyze architectures and develop various DODAF or SysML Viewpoints in support of this effort.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of experience in engineering; OR a Master of Science Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university with 3 years of experience in engineering; OR PhD in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an interim Top Secret prior to starting, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the business.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance after start of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Foundation in Model Based Systems Engineering and Architecture Development.
  • Applied knowledge of aircraft design.
  • Experience in the military aerospace development environment.
  • Experience with Cameo Magic Draw or another MBSE tool such as Rhapsody, Sparx EA, and Enterprise Architect.
