Join Summit Federal Services, LLC as a Field Service Engineer and take on a challenging role that requires strong technical skills and excellent customer service. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing daily onsite support to our customers with CDI Laser Engraving Equipment. Your primary duties will include performing new installations, operator training, electrical, mechanical, and laser optics repairs, as well as preventative maintenance and field upgrades. You will also be responsible for traveling up to 90% of the time, with 50% of that being local travel and 50% overnight travel.

We are looking for a professional who has excellent customer-oriented skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You should have a hands-on approach and be able to work under stress with deadlines and down equipment.

Your education and background experience should include secondary school experience in electrical/mechanics/technical fields, or work experience or equivalent military training. You should have at least 2 years of experience installing and maintaining copier printing, industrial, or military equipment. You should also have the ability to diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical problems, as well as a good working knowledge of PC hardware and driver installation.
