Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Gaming Commission Regulations and departmental policies of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

  • Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's seating arrangement, including sections and table numbers.
  • Understand restaurant ordering and expediting systems.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and address discrepancies.
  • Be familiar with menu specifications and abbreviations.
  • Address customer inquiries and relay feedback to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with food and beverage policies, state liquor laws, and food safety regulations.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a high-volume food service environment, preferably in table service.
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceeding expectations in job responsibilities.
  • Possess an enthusiastic and outgoing personality while maintaining professionalism.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends.

Work Environment:

  • Potential exposure to casino-related environmental factors, including secondhand smoke and elevated noise levels.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks; must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Work environment may be hectic, fast-paced, and crowded.
  • Effective communication in English is essential for guest interactions.

Closing:

The Tribal Council prioritizes Native American candidates in all employment practices. First preference is given to members of the Seminole Tribe, followed by members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet job qualifications.

As part of the employment process, final candidates will undergo a background check for gaming licensure, which may include credit checks, criminal background checks, and drug screenings.
