Job Summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team. As a Polysomnographer, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic polysomnographic testing to patients from newborn to 21 years of age, consistent with accepted national standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently perform diagnostic polysomnographic testing and scoring in accordance with accepted national standards.
  • Monitor comprehension, understanding, and compliance of the patient and family.
  • Identify and correct issues with testing technical quality.
  • May assist with orientation of new staff and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in polysomnography.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with an active Georgia RCP license; or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS), or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pediatrics.
