Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a skilled Polysomnographer to join our team. As a Polysomnographer, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic polysomnographic testing and scoring to patients from newborn to 21 years of age. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
Responsibilities
* Independently perform diagnostic polysomnographic testing and scoring in accordance with accepted national standards.
* Monitor comprehension, understanding, and compliance of the patient and family.
* Identify and correct issues with testing technical quality.
* May assist with orientation of new staff and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* 1 year of experience in polysomnography.
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Successful completion of a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with an active Georgia RCP license; or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), Sleep Disorders Specialist (SDS), or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST).
