Job Summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a skilled Neurophysiology Technician to join our team in the EEG Lab. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of diagnostic testing, including patient chart review, lead placement, and study acquisition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient chart reviews and interviews to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Place leads and review impedance to ensure optimal study results.
  • Acquire routine, sleep, and portable EEG studies with precision and attention to detail.
  • Document all studies performed and complete monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicate effectively with lab staff, nursing, and physician teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred.
  • Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPT.
  • One year of experience in EEG, with a strong understanding of diagnostic testing principles.
