Job SummaryPiedmont Healthcare is seeking a skilled Neurophysiology Technician to join our team in the EEG Lab. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of diagnostic testing, including patient chart review, lead placement, and study acquisition.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient chart reviews and interviews to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Place leads and review impedance to ensure optimal study results.
- Acquire routine, sleep, and portable EEG studies with precision and attention to detail.
- Document all studies performed and complete monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with lab staff, nursing, and physician teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- High school graduate or equivalent, with some college preferred.
- Registry in one area of Neurodiagnostics by ABRET or Registered Polysomnographic Tech by BRPT.
- One year of experience in EEG, with a strong understanding of diagnostic testing principles.
