Job Title: Project Manager, Transportation

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at RK&K. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading transportation planning and design projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and analyze alternative solutions for transportation projects
  • Oversee a team of talented and professional staff
  • Lead highway planning and/or design projects
  • Mentor junior engineering and technician staff
  • Apply Highway Design Standards and other guidelines to transportation projects
  • Produce construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • 10-15 years of experience in civil engineering design and/or transportation/highway engineering
  • Tennessee Professional Engineering Registration (PE)
  • Expertise in Microstation / Geopak / InRoads/ Open Roads and/or AutoCAD / Civil 3D and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) experience
  • Alternative project delivery experience
  • Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC)
