Job Opportunity at SUNY Brockport

SUNY Brockport is seeking qualified candidates for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Journalism, Broadcasting and Public Relations. The successful candidate will teach video, journalism, media writing and/or theory-based courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach video, journalism, media writing and/or theory-based courses
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in media/communication or related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
  • Substantial professional experience in a media field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or MFA in media/communication or related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
  • More than 10 years professional experience in a media field
  • Substantial teaching experience

Variable

Salary and Benefits:

$4000 for 3 credit course
