Job SummaryWe are seeking applicants for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Department of Journalism, Broadcasting, and Public Relations to teach video, journalism, media writing, and/or theory-based courses.
Responsibilities- Teach video, journalism, media writing, and/or theory-based courses
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments
- Provide feedback and guidance to students
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices
- Master's degree in media/communication or related field by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university
- Substantial professional experience in a media field
- Preferred qualifications include a doctorate or MFA in media/communication or related field, or more than 10 years of professional experience in a media field
- A competitive salary of $4000 per 3-credit course
