As a Residential Counselor II, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to achieve their goals and live independently.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support and Guidance: Provide individual and group counseling sessions, as well as daily living skills training, to help clients achieve their goals and live independently.
- Case Management: Develop and implement individualized service plans, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support and resources to meet their needs.
- Facility Management: Maintain a safe and secure living environment, including supervising residents' chores, monitoring medications, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, including progress notes, service plans, and incident reports.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
- Education: Associate's degree in human services or a related field, or a high school diploma/GED with 6 months to 1 year of related mental health experience.
- Experience: Valid PA driver's license required.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality support services.
