Job Title: Manager Ortho Neuro Med Surg RN at Fort Worth

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled RN Manager to lead our Orthopedic Neurosurgery department at our Fort Worth location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care leadership, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ICU or Neurological units. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and current RN licensure in the State of Texas or a Compact State are required. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of RNs and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement education and training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience in ICU or Neurological units.
  • Graduate of an accredited professional School of Nursing with a Bachelor in Science of Nursing (BSN).
  • Current clinical practice within 2-5 years.
  • Current clinical practice in area of expertise.
  • Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State your Primary State of Residence.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
