Department: Parks, Arts, Recreation, and Community Services

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Sports Activity Coordinator is responsible for overseeing practices and games, as well as managing tournaments, sports events, and special activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to any repetitive drills, incidents, accidents, and injuries that may occur during scheduled activities.
  • Open and close facilities as required.
  • Set up chairs, tables, and sports equipment for various group activities.
  • Maintain visibility and availability to coaches, players, spectators, and officials.
  • Collaborate with different organizations to ensure the success of leagues, rentals, and tournaments.
  • Stay informed about current activities and information related to the sports center.
  • Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of community special events.
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to all patrons.
