About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compensation and Rewards Strategist to join our team at Lambda. As the Head of Compensation and Benefits, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Compensation Strategy

Design and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives, ensuring we remain competitive in the market.

Market Research and Analysis

Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay current with industry compensation trends, competitor practices, and regulatory requirements.

Partner with Cross-Functional Teams

Partner with HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Finance, and senior leadership to establish guidelines and policies for compensation decisions across the organization.

Oversee Compensation Programs

Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all compensation programs, including salary structures, equity, benefits, and other compensation-related processes.

Internal and External Equity

Respond to internal requests for review of existing jobs, pricing new positions, reviewing requests for promotions, salary adjustments, and external offer packages, ensuring internal and external equity.

Reporting and Insights

Prepare regular reports and presentations for board and senior leadership to provide insights into compensation-related metrics and performance.

Requirements
  • Education

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Experience

8+ years of compensation experience with at least 3 years within a public company or a high-growth, pre-IPO environment and a strong understanding of equity.

Skills

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations, experience leading compensation initiatives, and a proven track record of designing and implementing compensation programs and driving organizational change.

Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of compensation and HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
