Position Overview: Postdoctoral Scholar in Tumor Immunology

The College of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology is looking for dedicated Postdoctoral Scholars to investigate innovative immune targets related to colon and pancreatic cancers through a collaborative research framework. The focus will be on assessing the interactions among fibroblasts, macrophages, and T cells to identify potential therapeutic targets.

Utilizing human primary cell cultures and murine models, the research will delve into immune phenotypes and facilitate the development of novel pharmacological studies. Candidates with experience in animal models, flow cytometry, and immune cell characterization are preferred.

Training and Development:

The selected candidate will benefit from comprehensive training and mentorship aimed at fostering career growth. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to acquire new competencies and explore translational methodologies in tumor immunology. Proficiency in English is essential, along with demonstrated independent research capabilities and a proven track record in laboratory settings.
