Position Overview: Postdoctoral Scholar in Gastroenterology

The College of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology is on the lookout for enthusiastic Postdoctoral Scholars to investigate innovative immune targets related to colon and pancreatic cancers. This role emphasizes a collaborative approach within a dynamic research team.

The focus will be on exploring the interactions among fibroblasts, macrophages, and T cells to identify potential therapeutic targets. The research will utilize human primary cell cultures and mouse models to assess immune phenotypes and facilitate the development of novel drug studies. Candidates with experience in mouse experimentation, flow cytometry, and immune cell analysis will be preferred.

Training and Development:

The selected candidate will benefit from comprehensive training and mentorship aimed at fostering career advancement. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, the individual will acquire new skills and engage in translational research in tumor immunology. Proficiency in English is essential, and candidates should demonstrate independent research capabilities and a proven record of laboratory success.
