Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Construction Project Manager to join our team at 360 Talent Avenue. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of steel construction projects, ensuring all project requirements and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage and oversee all phases of assigned steel construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and adherence to project schedules.
  • Plan Review: Review and interpret construction project plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Material Procurement: Issue Purchase Requests for raw materials necessary for fabrication.
  • RFI and Change Orders: Process Requests for Information (RFI) and change orders promptly and accurately.
  • Scheduling: Manage and schedule the processing of shop drawings, shop fabrication, and field installation.
  • Client Coordination: Maintain open communication with clients and inspectors to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Site Meetings: Attend and actively participate in construction site meetings.
  • Cost Control: Implement cost control strategies to maximize project profitability.
  • Team Training: Train and allocate different projects to Project Engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the steel construction industry.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Certifications: PMP certification is a plus.
