Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Account Manager to join our team at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. As a key member of our security services team, you will be responsible for managing the security services and related operation services provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Management: Manage the retention, scheduling, and training of 25-35 employees at any given time, ensuring their abilities meet client expectations regarding proprietary software and standard operating procedures.
  • HR Liaison: Act as the HR liaison for all Securitas employees staffed on-site, handling role assessments, counseling, and 1-1 training.
  • Skills Maintenance: Maintain the necessary skill sets for security officers, receptionists, supervisors, or communications officers in case of shift coverage needs.
  • System Implementation: Spearheaded the conversion from i-Visitor visitor access software to BreezN and subsequently SV3.
  • Alarm Response: Instituted alarm response procedure for the SiPass audit trail related to access of the facility.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot access control issues with Siemens and WinDSX affiliated vendors both on-site and off.
  • Incident Reporting: Compile, track, and audit all client-related disruptions to business continuity, potential or otherwise, and disseminate the information to the communications team for presentation.
  • Team Communication: Establish weekly updates for Team & Shift/Site Supervisors outlining procedural, operational, and event-based changes, needs, and updates.
  • Badge Management: Create and maintain the Daily Position Checklist and Badge Generation Trackers for retention purposes.
  • Contractor Safety: Delegate and train in all Contractor Safety Training and Approving Authority document retention policies, and conduct routine auditing and compliance checks.
  • Liaison Services: Act as the liaison with law enforcement and government agencies in conjunction with internal leadership for the Westbrook World Campus.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct quarterly Approving Authority and Alarm Escalation Site Contacts audits to coincide with the existing Quarterly Access Audit.
  • Training and Development: Overhaul the existing training program and institute monthly scenario trainings to demonstrate team abilities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Client Services: Work directly with the Program Director and remote site leadership to ensure training obligations are fulfilled across all Securitas staffed client locations.
  • Employee Development: Tasked with the continued development of newly hired and current employees on-shift, introducing a broader skill set outside of base designated duties.
  • Emergency Response: Responsible for 24/7 on-call mitigation for all emergency events, including mass notification in accordance with established escalation policy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate the expansion of a broader sphere of influence for the Facilities Operations Center to include other client departments.
  • Customer Service: Ensure a standard of exemplary customer service and leadership when dealing with clients, Securitas employees, vendors, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree and 3 or more years of experience in a field related to the security industry and/or business management.
  • Experience: Responsible experience in the security industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior Emergency Preparations Command experience (Law Enforcement, Fire, EMT), bilingualism, and ASIS Certification.
